Abstract

Background: The Healthy Living Community Movement is a national program aimed at increasing public awareness in implementing healthy living behaviors. Based on the results of the 2023 SKI research, it shows that 33.5% of Indonesians do not do enough physical activity, 95.5% of the population aged >5 years do not consume enough fruit and vegetables. These conditions indicate that the implementation of GERMAS in the community has not been optimal. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve healthy living behaviors through the role of health workers, increased knowledge, attitudes, and exposure to regulatory information. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the implementation of the Healthy Living Community Movement in Cileuya Village, Cimahi District, 2026. Method: This study employed a descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 5,650 residents. A total of 105 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Rank Spearman test. Results: The results showed that nearly half of the respondents had good knowledge (42.9%), most respondents had a positive attitude (58.1%), most respondents perceived that health workers played a high role (64.8%), most respondents had been exposed to regulatory information (71.4%), and most respondents demonstrated good implementation of GERMAS (64.8%). There were significant associations between knowledge (p = 0.002), attitude (p = 0.001), the role of health workers (p = 0.001), exposure to regulatory information (p = 0.001). Conclusion: There were significant relationships between knowledge, attitude, the role of health workers, and exposure to regulatory information with the implementation of the Healthy Living Community Movement in Cileuya Village, Cimahi District, 2026. Suggestion: The recommendation of this study is for the Community Health Center and the Government of Cileuya Village to strengthen GERMAS education and health promotion, particularly regarding regular health screening, fruit and vegetable consumption, and public awareness of the GERMAS program. Keywords: GERMAS, Knowledge, Attitude, Role of Health Workers, Exposure to Regulatory Information.
