Abstract
Background: Globally, around 966 million women of reproductive age use contraception, with 874 million using modern methods and 92 million using traditional methods. The Ministry of Health recorded 4,005 maternal deaths in 2022, which increased to 4,129 in 2023. Infant deaths were recorded at 20,882 in 2022 and rose to 29,945 in 2023. Based on data from Jalaksana Health Center, Kuningan Regency, there are variations in patient satisfaction levels across different service units, indicating that most patients feel fairly satisfied with the services provided. This study aims to determine the relationship between MCH/FP service quality and patient satisfaction at Jalaksana Health Center, Kuningan Regency, in 2025. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all residents of Jalaksana, with a random sampling technique used to obtain 98 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted univariately and bivariately using the Spearman rank test. Results: Most respondents rated the quality of MCH/FP services as poor, totaling 50 (51%), while most patients expressed dissatisfaction with the services, totaling 60 (61.2%). Statistical testing showed a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between MCH/FP service quality and patient satisfaction at Jalaksana Health Center, Kuningan Regency, in 2025. Suggestions: The findings of this study can be used as input to improve the quality of MCH/FP services through continuous evaluation, such as enhancing the competence of health workers, improving service flow, and upgrading facilities and infrastructure.
