Abstract

Background: Anxiety in pregnant women is a psychological issue that can impact the health of both the mother and the unborn baby. A study in Kuningan Regency showed that the majority of pregnant women experienced moderate anxiety, at 44.4%. The prevalence of anxiety in pregnant women in the Garawangi Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area was 53.6%. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with anxiety levels in pregnant women in the Garawangi Community Health Center area, Kuningan Regency, in 2026. Methods: This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 132 pregnant women in the Garawangi Community Health Center area, with a sample of 110 women selected using a purposive sampling method. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariately using frequency distribution and bivariately using the Chi-Square test at a 95% significance level (α = 0.05). Results: The Chi-Square analysis showed a significant relationship between parity (p-value = 0.000), maternal knowledge (p-value = 0.000), access to health services (p-value = 0.000), and husband's support (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that parity, maternal knowledge, access to health services, and husband's support are significantly related to anxiety levels among pregnant women in the working area of Garawangi Community Health Center, Kuningan Regency, 2026.
